Vernon paints from memory a classic horse and wagon that would be seen in old time Argentina. Vernon served a church mission in Argentina in 1950-1952. To get home he was given a travel stipend. Instead of traveling by boat, he opted to travel over land allowing Vernon to explore south and central America on his journey home.
